Who We Are
These click and collect foreign currency ordering services ("the services") are provided by Speedloan Finance Limited, trading as Albemarle & Bond and Herbert Brown. Registered in England and Wales number 04332476. VAT Registration No 191 1269 13.

Use of the Service
The Services are only available to individuals aged 18 years or over who are resident in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) for purchase and collection of currency from their selected Albemarle & Bond or Herbert Brown branch. By using the services you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
The services are only available for the currencies listed from time to time on this website. All orders are subject to a minimum value of £250 and a maximum value of £2,500 per order. We will quote to the nearest amount available that is higher than your request. The rate of exchange applied is calculated to a number of decimal places and will be rounded up to the nearest penny.

Placing an Order
To place an order, follow the instructions on the ordering screens. You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on "Confirm Order” in the Order Confirmation screen. You will be required to pay for your ordered currency at the time of collection from your selected branch. The exchange rate shown in the Order Confirmation screen will be the rate at which you buy your ordered currency and this will be valid until close of business on the date by which your order is shown to be ready for collection. If you collect your ordered currency after this date, the rate which applies will be the rate at which we sell your ordered currency on the date when you come to your selected branch to collect your currency.
You must provide the requested information for us to process your order. Speedloan Finance Limited reserves the right to request further information from you at any time to enable us to complete your order and/or to comply with regulatory requirements. By placing an order, you confirm that the details contained in the order are correct in all respects. The system will display a confirmation screen setting out the details of your order. This confirms receipt of your order. You will be sent a confirmation email of your order to the email address you provide. Please print a copy of the confirmation screen for your records and print or store the confirmation email in a safe place if you require record of your transaction.

Charges
You will not be charged a card handling fee if you choose to pay by Maestro, MasterCard® Debit or Visa Debit Cards. We are charged a fee where customers choose to pay by MasterCard Credit Card or Visa Credit Card, therefore if you wish to pay by MasterCard Credit Card or Visa Credit Card, we will charge a card handling fee of 2% of the order value. This will be shown within your order summary as a “Credit Card handling fee”. Your Credit Card issuer / provider may charge a “Cash handling fee”; please check the terms and conditions of your agreement. Any additional charge will not appear on your order total but will appear on your card statement. The total sum payable by you to us will be shown in your order summary.

Collection of Currency
Your currency will be available for collection as follows:

*Days quoted are dependent on days being a working day. If one of these days is a public holiday then additional day(s) will be added accordingly. It is possible that your ordered currency may be available more quickly than shown here and we recommend that you telephone your chosen branch to check this. Please note that we do not guarantee this however and you may have to wait until the delivery slot indicated here to collect your ordered currency.
Collection of ordered currency is dependent upon your ability to produce identification documents to our satisfaction. The limits shown below are per transaction. If you do not have documents that meet these requirements, we will refuse to sell you the currency you have ordered.

Currency Buy Back
Buy back exchange rates displayed on our website are updated daily and are current on day of publication.  These represent the rates at which we will buy those currencies displayed on the day of publication.  If you do not sell your currency to us on the same day, it is possible that another rate will apply, which will be the rate applied to your transaction on the date of sale.    Proof of purchase of banknotes from Speedloan Finance Limited is not required.  Purchase of currency by us is dependent on your ability to produce identification documents to our satisfaction as set out above, which apply to each transaction.  If you cannot produce required identification, we will not buy currency from you.

Transferring Our Rights
We may assign our rights and benefits under these terms and conditions at any time. This will not affect your legal rights.

Complaints
If you think we have made a mistake on your order please contact the branch from which you collect your currency. If you are unhappy with the service, please either contact any one of our branches, call us on 01924 841800, go to www.albemarlebond.co.uk/log-a-complaint or write to The Complaints Team, Speedloan Finance Limited, 2 Burgage Square, Wakefield, WF1 2TS. We will try to resolve any problems as quickly as possible and in accordance with our complaints policy, a copy of which is available on request.

Law and Jurisdiction
Our relationship shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with English Law unless you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland), in which case the law in force where you live will apply. Any dispute which cannot be resolved between us shall be resolved in the courts which have jurisdiction where you live.
